On the March the 1st representatives of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and Poznan University of Technology (Poland) signed a Protocol on Intentions for the Establishment and Launch of a Joint Nanosatellite.

On the 31th of January representatives of The National Joint Stock Holding Company Artem directory at the head of Anton Karpenko, current chairman of the company, visited Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.

On December, 21 Igor Sikorsky KPI was visited by delegation of the company "Alsalam Aerospace Industries" (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia).

In spring, was held the final stage of the All-Ukrainian competition of student's academic affairs on discipline "CAD and Computer Modeling in Mechanical Engineering".

Among the innovative projects of the KPI students presented to the President of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, during his visit to our university, the most interesting are technologies and equipment for ultrasonic cavitation milk processing (see photo).

On November 16-18, 2017, an international educational exhibition «Education and Career - Student's Day 2017» took place in the Ukrainian House.

On November, 10, the KPI was visited by the Head of the State Space Agency of Ukraine Pavlo Degtyarenko and his adviser Eduard Kuznetsov.

On September 22-27, 2017, was held the 29th European Union Young Scientists' Contest (EUCYS-2017) in Tallinn, the most prestigious competition for winners of national competitions.

From 19 until 24 June in the laboratories of the Department of Applied Hydro aeromechanics and Mechatronics of the Mechanical Engineering Institute the Second Summer School of Mechatronics was held.
