In April, 14 at the department of integrated technologies of Mechanical Engineering Institute of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv polytechnic institute there was a presentation of 3D printer made by school students.

On 15 March top-managers of "Boeing" corporation and companies group "Progresstech" visited Igor Sikorsky Kyiv polytechnic institute.

Igor Sikorsky Kyiv polytechnic institute and Scientific Park "Kyiv polytechnics" signed memorandum on mutual understanding with Ukrainian subdivision of one of the best known in the world electronics production corporations- "Panasonic Ukraine Ltd."

Scientists of Institute of Space Research (ISR) of Ukrainian National Academy of Science (UNAS) and National Space Agency of Ukraine (NSAU) together with representatives of scientific schools and NTUU "Igor Sikorsky KPI" administration discussed at the meeting that took place in the university, on 13th December, the issue of cooperation development and creation of common Scientific and Educational Center of Space Research and Technologies.

In November, 24 a round table meeting " WorldSkills and its experience as a key to effective economy took place in Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.

In October, 20, there was a solemn opening of All-Ukrainian competition "Aviator 2017" in National technical university of Ukraine "Igor Sikorsky Kyiv polytechnic institute".

A delegation of SAS (Special Aerospace Service) with its chief technical officer and cofounder Tim Bulk as well as project managers Bill Clark and Ken Lindas visited NTUU "Igor Sikorsky KPI" in October, 5.

In September, 23, there were celebrations on the occasion of 100th anniversary of "Boeing" company foundation.
