During the All-Ukrainian HeatTech Hackathon, student teams worked on projects to modernize heat supply systems, decentralize power generation, and protect critical infrastructure amid shelling and blackouts.
🩸 55 participants, 24.75 liters of blood—a joint contribution by KPI students and other donors to saving the lives of our defenders. Igor Sikorsky KPI once again supported a blood drive for wounded soldiers who require transfusions during their treatment.
🎓 Mikael Borkner, Chairman of the Board of JSC CB “PrivatBank,” visited Igor Sikorsky KPI to deliver an open lecture. Today, PrivatBank is one of the leaders in Ukraine’s banking sector, setting trends in digital transformation and the development of innovative services, and is one of the university’s trusted financial partners.

🔹 This year, the traditional FIOT celebration went beyond the usual festivities. The FIOT Hub functioned as a large coworking space where students interacted with recruiters from top IT companies, attended lectures, and congratulated faculty members and winners of cyber competitions.
The Educational, Scientific, Publishing, and Printing Institute of KPI organized the 3rd All-Ukrainian Festival of Creative Youth “Creative Hub.” 🤩 The event brought together about 200 participants from all over Ukraine. Ideas, meanings, new formats—the future of Ukrainian creativity was born at “Creative Hub 2026.”
🏓 Our students performed successfully in the table tennis competition at the 21st Universiade in Kyiv: two university teams made it into the top ranks and earned KPI important points in the overall standings.
🏆 The dcua team from the Educational and Scientific Institute of Physics and Technology (ESIPT) at Kyiv Polytechnic University performed brilliantly in the finals of the cyber competition in Stockholm, establishing itself as the strongest not only in Ukraine but also in the world. Our students outperformed their peers from Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, as well as other Ukrainian teams.
🏐 The KPI women’s team confidently advanced through the group stage of the Indoor Volleyball Club League at the official Kyiv Championship and made it to the playoffs. Next up are knockout games and the battle for top spots among the tournament’s strongest teams.
