On April 7, 2017, Head of the Department of Acoustics and Acoustoelectronics, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Vitalii Semenovych Didkovskyi celebrated his 80th anniversary.

In micrometrical tool engineering during manufacturing of electronic components and circuits, in the production of medical instruments, and others, is widely used modern effective technology of contact microwelding, which allows to obtain reliable integral connections of miniature parts.

On October 14, last year, during the ceremony of commemorating the Kiev Polytechnicians, who died on the Maidan and in the battles of eastern Ukraine, I met with a member of the Revolution of Dignity and Anti-Terrorist Operation. Cyril Buntov is a student of our university.

Recently startup project, one of three authors who is a graduate of the Department of Industrial Electronics of the University Bogdan Suchyk 2008, won the world famous "fight Startup" (Startup Battlefield) in the US.

From 27 November to 3 December 2016 in the framework of academic mobility Erasmus + KPI named after Igor Sikorsky prof. Wojciech Hlevytsky came with the visit from the University in Szczecin, Poland (Szczecin University of Technology, Faculty of Electrical Engineering).

In the fall of 2016, the Department of acoustics and acoustoelectronics was 80 years old. This is a respectable age for humans and for the Department, and it is entirely understandable desire to look back and remember the right word for Department staff and their good deeds.

In December, 1, representatives of Institute of business administration and engineering technologies Vishvaniketan (India), managing owner, Professor Sandyr Inamndar and director of international relations department, Professor Dhananjai Handzode visited Igor Sikorsky KPI.

On November 23-d, 2016 the IX Olympiad on circuit theory was held. It has been organized by the Department of Physical and Biomedical Electronics of the Faculty of Electronics and is dedicated to the memory of Prof. Vitaly Petrovich Sigorsky, a prominent scientist and educator.
