June 15, The Technical Museum in the open air NTUU "KPI" was added with a new exhibit. The helicopter Mi-2, a gift of the Ministry of Defense, was installed at the site near the former hangar, and now the branch of aviation and astronautics SPM.
On June 2009 the delegation of L.N.Gumilyov Euroasian National University headed by its rector Doctor of law, Professor Bakhytzan Zharylkasymovich Abdraimov visited NTUU”KPI”.
Honoring. University "KPI" with gratitude and respect remembers his famous graduate – Igor Sikorski. In his honor, a memorial plaque was installed on the territory of the KPI.
On April 23, 2009 on NTUU”KPI” administration's invitation NTUU”KPI” was visited by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of USA in Ukraine H.E.Mr. William Taylor. The aim of the visit was to speak at the meeting with students and lecturers of the University.
On May 13, 2009 on this event the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Austrian Republic in Ukraine H.E. Mr. Markus Wuketich and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania in Ukraine H.E. Mr. T.Hristea visited NTUU”KPI”.
On April 21, 2009 NTUU “KPI” received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic in Ukraine H. E. Mr. Jacques Faure. Mr. J.Faure delivered the lecture “Bilateral Cooperation Between France and Ukraine. The Role of France in Relations Ukraine-European Union”.
On April 2, 2009 the delegation of Hewlett-Packard International Trade B.V. Representative Office in Ukraine headed by its General manager Serhiy Savenko visited NTUU”KPI”.
KUWAIT: A visiting delegation representing Kyiv University yesterday affirmed importance of exchanging students between the Ukrainian university and Kuwait University. The visitors also affirmed significance of the development of relations in the field of education between the two countries.
On March 6, 2009 meeting with Dr. Erih Ratske, Dr. Marion Minert, representatives of the Federal Ministry of Education and Science and Mr. Erih Bistriker, researches and technologies cooperation expert «DE International Ukraine» was conducted at NTUU «KPI».
The purpose of the visit is broadening of the cooperation with our partners in Republic of Poland and participation in the Task Committee on implementation the “Cooperation Platform of Central and Eastern European Metropolitan Universities of Technology”.
