In this news, we publish some of the important provisions in the report of the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute Tetiana Zheliaskova for the past year with an emphasis on the short period from August to December 2024 in the context of the Kyiv Polytechnic Development Strategy for 2025-2030, which she delivered at a meeting of the Academic Council of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute on March 10.

+47% of applicants (8 572) and +63% of educational components (1 076) in full-time education in the fall semester compared to the spring semester of the previous academic year
Recruitment and training of higher education applicants in 293 educational programs in 49 specialties (113 bachelor's, 100 master's and 31 master's degree programs, 49 doctoral degree programs)
9 new educational programs (including 2 interdisciplinary)
5 new certificate programs aimed at improving the defense industry, cybersecurity and post-war recovery
9 new laboratories (educational/academic/research) at 5 different faculties/institutes
Increase in the number of registered participants in distance learning systems: 25 000+ Moodle (including 2 000+ teachers), 28 000+ Google Workspace. The procedure for certification of distance learning courses is actively in place
Today the University has preferential access to Udemy, Zoom, Labster, Grammarly, SimLab, English4Ukraine.
The number of students and teaching staff using preferential access is growing
Currently, the university has 77 cooperation agreements on the implementation of the dual form of higher education for 65 educational programs
21 educational programs in English (4 bachelor's, 9 master's, 8 doctoral)
143 dissertation defenses for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy, including 1 foreigner

Development of the automated system myKPI, in particular, it now allows for end-to-end planning of the educational process - from the educational program to the electronic timetable. Currently, the myKPI system has modules for creating a curriculum, ensuring the selectivity of academic disciplines and certificate programs at all levels of higher education, generating curricula and individual student plans, calculating the workload of teaching staff, creating silobuses, etc.
