We are sad to inform you that we continue to receive information about KPI students who died in the war.
Anton Vitaliyovych Zabrodskyi (31.08.1997 - 16.11.2022) was a graduate of the Educational and Research Institute of Aerospace Technologies (ER IAT).
Before the start of the full-scale invasion, he worked at the Antonov plant, was interested in everything related to airplanes, and his dream was to rebuild the Mriya airplane after the victory and make it even better. He was married and had a two-year-old son, Yan.
From the first days of the war, he served in the 130th Battalion of Territorial Defense of Kyiv and took part in the battles for the city of Irpin until its liberation. Subsequently, he was moved to the city of Kharkiv, where he took a direct part in the fighting (driver of the 3rd division, 2nd platoon, 1st rifle company of the military unit A7296).
He was killed during the movement of personnel from the combat zone, in order to take up new defensive positions, while adjusting the passage of vehicles through the pontoon crossing.
He was posthumously awarded the medals "Honor. Glory. State“ medals for courage, patriotism and high civic position from the community of Kyiv, ”To the Unbreakable Heroes of the Russian-Ukrainian War“ and ”For the Defense of the Hero City of Ukraine Kharkiv," as well as the commander's award of the 130th separate mechanized brigade.
Eternal memory and glory to the Heroes!
