On May 4, Rector of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute Michael Zgurovsky and Rector of Teofil Yasinovsky Poznan University of Technology Teofil Jesionowski had a meeting. It was about the cooperation of universities under conditions of war.
Today, May 3, an online meeting of representatives of American and Ukrainian universities took place. It was initiated by the University of Arizona to support the Ukrainian educational and scientific community and help it address the challenges posed by a full-scale war.
The essence of the initiative is the cooperation of the University of Ukraine with a fellow university in the United Kingdom of a similar profile. Universities from the USA, Canada and the EU can also join them.
Chernihiv Polytechnic University was damaged by bombing. Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute bought 630 square meters of polyethylene film to cover the broken windows and ordered 2 batteries to replace the damaged ones in KAMAZ truck.
