Today, May 3, an online meeting of representatives of American and Ukrainian universities took place. It was initiated by the University of Arizona to support the Ukrainian educational and scientific community and help it address the challenges posed by a full-scale war.
Besides Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, Ukrainian Catholic University, Lviv Polytechnic, Karazin University, and Kyiv School of Economics took part in the meeting. Representatives of each institution expressed their views on the support that US universities can provide.
Rector of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute Michael Zgurovsky offered the partners cooperation in two areas with highest priority for university. The first is research and innovation activities centred around the Ecosystem Sikorsky Challenge. The second is space research. "Our university is interested in the development of space technology," said the rector.
