International alliaunce of chemical engineering has been established
Silk Route university association chemical engineering establishment ceremony took place on 21-22 June ,2018 in Sian, People's Republic of China. Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute faculty of chemical engineering became one of its founders.
Past meets the future
2018 was declared the Year of Cultural Heritage in Europe. It began under the slogan “Our heritage: where the past meets the future”. Its main goal is to attract more people to the discovering and recognition of Europe's cultural achievements.
Agreement with the Dragomanov National Pedagogical University
On, June 5, 2018 Igor Sikorsky KPI and the Science Park “Kyivska Polytechnika” signed an agreement on cooperation with the M.P. Dragomanov National Pedagogical University.
Cooperation memorandum with «ТIENS» corporation and «Tianyuan» university
On May, 31 the KPI was visited by a well-known Chinese businessman and philanthropist, chairman of the board of Tiens Corporation and founder of the Tianyuan University Li Jinhuan.

Meeting with representatives of Korean Chonbuk National University
The main issues, discussed during the visit of the Korean delegation of Chonbuk National University (Chonbuk National University, or abbreviated CBNU) to Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute on May 2d were the ones connected with the establishment of the cooperation between both universities in educational and scientific spheres as well as creation of a joint innovation platform on the basis of the Science Park "Kyivska Politechnica".
