The third year student of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute RTF Danylo Lyaudyansky won the innovation and educational project "Seeds For The Future - 2021", organized by Huawei.
20 Ukrainian students from 14 higher education institutions took part in the innovation and educational program of this project, which lasted for eight days in Kyiv. During these days, program participants listened to lectures on 5G, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, cybersecurity, big data from leading experts in the telecommunications industry "lifecell", "Vodafone Ukraine", "Kyivstar", experts from Huawei's headquarters in Shenzhen, director of " Huawei Ukraine “ Mr. Ma Qi. They also presented their ideas in the framework of the "Tech4Good" project and got acquainted with the traditional and modern culture of China.
Upon completion of the course, participants received certificates and invitations to take a paid internship at Huawei Ukraine. Now Danylo is an intern in this company and shares his impressions:
- During the participation in the "Seeds for the Future" program, I met many ambitious people and, to be honest, I began to look at the world much more broadly ... During the internship he worked as a datacom engineer, i.e. a person who is responsible for designing and providing all necessary telecommunications networks. I will be honest: at first it was difficult, because I never did an internship, and this is a large company… And first of all it was difficult to get used to the pace of work: in Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute it is a little bit easier. And although I, in fact, learned the basics of networking and helped in various small tasks, the experience I gained is hard to overestimate ... Thanks to the support of the faculty, I really got a ticket to the future and now I more or less understand who I want to become after graduation.

Huawei has been implementing the international Seeds for the Future project since 2008. The program has been operating in Ukraine since 2016. As of June 30, 2021, the program has been implemented in 131 countries, reaching almost 9,000 students.
