The second stage of fire and technological safety training with the support of the State Emergency Service took place at KPI.

KPI students began to take a course in basic combat training.

Our students were trained in tactical medicine, the ability to detect and handle explosive devices and mastered the skills of handling weapons.

On April 29, a student space Belka hosted another training in premedical care with the participation of Hanna Mayboroda, a trainer from MED.PATRIOT crisis center for civil and military medicine.

Its core was established this year at the Paton Institute of Materials Science and Welding of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. 

Borys Paton, the head of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and the Institute of Electro-welding, which bears the name of his father, not only became a kind of symbol of the industry, but also made a lot of effort to bring it to the international level. It was he who helped to add Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute to the international community of professionals and experts in connection technologies and processes with which these technologies are inextricably linked

The commission for the professional certification was formed on the basis of IEE of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, in accordance with the Decree of the Rector No. 7/115 dated 05.10.18 on the basis of the Center for the training of energy managers.

Master’s preparation in Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute as in most leading universities in the world is the main educational activity. The attractiveness of any university depends on the quality of such training.

Nowadays Ukrainian society more than ever needs major innovations. At the same time, in Ukraine dominates the “economy of things” whereas in developed countries it is the knowledge economy which prevails.

The main issue on the agenda was preparation for the new academic year, the first rector Y.I.Yakymenko and corepporter M.Y.Ilchenko reported.

The session of Program committee of international forum “Lessons from the Chornobyl disaster – nuclear security of the world” was hold in February, 24 in Presidium of National academy of science of Ukraine.
