In September, 29, XVII International scientific and practical conference “Renewable power generation and energy efficiency in XXI century” started its work in NTUU “Igor Sikorsky KPI”
Libraries at modern universities haven’t been just book storages for a long time. All leading universities around the world are developing their libraries as intellectual centers. The library at KPI after I. Sikorsky can and should be similar to all those libraries.
Nowadays Ukrainian society more than ever needs major innovations. At the same time, in Ukraine dominates the “economy of things” whereas in developed countries it is the knowledge economy which prevails.

At the end of May 2016 on occasion of 80year of Welding department KPI in NTUU "KPI" the International conference «Innovative technologies and engineering in welding of «PolyWed-2016» took place.
NTUU “KPI” won research grant Google Earth Engine Research Award 2016 and became the first university of Ukraine that shared the initiative of Google Company (Alphabet).
Cybermetrics Laboratory, that reports Webometrics rating two times per year, announced the results of the second rating of universities of the world according to scientific citation at Google Scholar.
In June, 12 NTUU "KPI", "Electrobus of Ukraine" and Scientific Park "Kyiv polytechnics" have signed the Memorandum of scientific and technical cooperation.
