Forever memory

Taras volunteered for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was wounded and returned to the frontline immediately after in-patient care.

November 21 is the Dignity and Freedom Day in Ukraine.

On November 15, 2022, at the age of 81, the heart of honored lecturer of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, the first head of the Department of Renewable Energy Sources, PhD in Technical Sciences, associate professor Vsevolod Kyrylenko, stopped.

Andriy defended Ukraine from the very start of the russo-Ukrainian war. After the full-scale invasion, he joined the Freedom battalion of the National Guard of Ukraine again.

Two years ago, on October 26, 2020, Oleksandr Serhiyovich Boltenko, the Head of the Department of History of Aviation and Cosmonautics of the Borys Paton State Polytechnic Museum at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute during 2008–2020, passed away.

Memorial plaques to Yuriy Artiukh and Oleh Zadorozhny were opened at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.

Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute honored the memory and heroism of the soldiers who gave their lives for the independence and territorial integrity of our state.

Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic honored all the polytechnicians who died during the Revolution of Dignity, in the Anti-terrorist Operation / Joint Forces Operation Zone and during the full-scale russian invasion.
