Research and teaching staff of the Kiev Polytechnic University, as well as the entire educational community, is working in conditions of higher education reform: a new law "On Higher Education" was adopted, the law "On Education" is prepared for amendments.

Trade union organization of students NTUU "KPI" is the primary organization of large and powerful Workers Union of Education and Science of Ukraine, which enables students solve problems not only at the university level, but also at the state level.
This summer 217 employees of KPI, 64 their families members and 77 children and grandchildren rested in recreation complex “Mayak” during 3 shifts. 217 tickets were sold for a full price to outsiders. The general complex filling was 65%.
Every year polytechnics' cohort is replenished by several thousands of ambitious young people who are planning to link their future with technology and engineering.
