The Department of Applied Hydroaeromechanics and Mechatronics has been already conducting the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad "Mechanical Engineering in Mechanical Engineering" for nine years.

From 19 until 24 June in the laboratories of the Department of Applied Hydro aeromechanics and Mechatronics of the Mechanical Engineering Institute the Second Summer School of Mechatronics was held.

That is the slogan we can note the events in November at the Department of Applied fluid and mechanomtronics: Autumn School - Olympiad - competition of professional skill.

In 17-21 of  November, 2015 VII All ­ Ukrainian Olympiad "Mechanotronics in engineering" was held at our university. The competition was attended by representatives of the National Aerospace University, the N. Ye.

The XX international scientific and technical conference "mechanics of fluids and gases in engineering practice" was held on May 27-28 at NTUU "KPI".

The session was attended by over 80 scientists and practitioners, 120 reports were presented and discussed.

Every time preparing materials for certain research and development performed in the CPI, to be amazed by the variety of directions and themes. That people know about cavitator? A small group of experts, and possibly motorists.

Senior Lecturer, Department of Applied fluid mechanics and mechatronics IME, doctoral candidate NTUU "KPI" Ph.D. Sergey Strucihski won the contest "Young teacher-researcher - 2013". This marked his teaching and research.

It’s hard to imagine the former student whose heart wont pant after hearing such words as “aerohydromechanics” and “mechanotronics” in case he dreams about new discoveries and improvements of different technical devices.

May 22, ХVIII International Scientific and Technical Conference "Aerohydromechanics in engineering practice" started its work at NTUU"KPI". The conference was attended by representatives of Ukraine, Poland, Belarus, Russia, Germany, Bulgaria.

Third of a century is not very significant period of time in the history of the KPI, but for a single department it can be considered as strategic one and achievements - significant.
