In 17-21 of November, 2015 VII All Ukrainian Olympiad "Mechanotronics in engineering" was held at our university. The competition was attended by representatives of the National Aerospace University, the N. Ye. Zhukovskiy State Aerospace University “Kharkiv Aviation Institute” (NAU"KhAI") from Kharkov, Kremenchuk Mykhailo Ostrohradskyi National University, The National Forestry and Wood-Technology University of Ukraine from Lviv, the Kyiv National Aviation University (NAU) from Kyiv, National University of Food Technologies (NUFT) from Kyiv, Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design (KNUTD), Khmelnytskyi National University, Lutsk National Technical University, Odessa National Academy of Food Technologies, Vinnytsia National Technical University and, of course, National Technical University of Ukraine “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” .
Opening the Olympics, rector of the University of the educational work of Peter Kyrychok noted that during all the time of holding competitions, more than 350 students have finished high school trainings and dozens of them were winners and thus received a ticket to professional activities, besides with honours and this is their impact on jobs and development.
As part of the competition team and individual competitions took place. Students of different specialties have developed systems, constituted schemes repair mechanism, programmed controllers and presented to the jury technical working systems with dozens of different elements with different control algorithms and control measures.
As a result of the team competition the first place was the team of "KPI" (Department of fluid mechanics and mechatronics) composed by O.Kyryyenka, D.Tymchenka, O.Rozumnoho led by O.S.Hanpantsurovoyi. The second - the same team of our university (department of chemical, polymer and silicate engineering) composed by I.Makovskoho, Yu.Herasymenka, led by O.V.Levchenka Ye.Bondarenka. Third place won KNUTD (Department of Applied mechanics and machines) composed by I.Bohdana, A.Dyachenka, led by B.V.Orlovskoho A.Shepetka.
Results of the competition in the individual competition as follows: first place - O.Kyryyenko (head O.S.Hanpantsurova, "KPI", Department of fluid mechanics and mechatronics). Second place - I.Bohdan ( B.V.Orlovskyy head of KNUTD, Department of Applied Mechanics and machines). Third place - B.Myhaylyk (head M.V.Yakymchuk, NUFT, Department of Engineering Mechanics and packaging technology).
