Senior Lecturer, Department of Applied fluid mechanics and mechatronics IME, doctoral candidate NTUU "KPI" Ph.D. Sergey Strucihski won the contest "Young teacher-researcher - 2013". This marked his teaching and research.
S.V.Strutynskyy is a leading lecturer on one of the most important areas - hydrodynamic machines. During teaching experience (since 2011) he gave lecture courses and practical lessons in the following disciplines: "Aerodynamics and Hydraulics" (for FASS); "Hydraulics and hydro-drive" (in the IPP); "Fundamentals of Computer Graphics", "Blades of hydro and pneumatic machinery and hydrodynamic transmission" (in IME).
Modern hydrodynamic machines and hydraulic transmission (turbines, pumps, fluid couplings, torque converters) require fundamentally new methods of calculation and design. This is done by S.V.Strutinsky through the development solid models of the fluid flow machine, calculating the parameters of the fluid in the space of curved channels of complex geometry. These methods are introduced in teaching course "Hydrodynamic machines" through the use of effective software "Inventor", ANSYS, etc. New developments are realized in the work of students. One Bachelor and four Specialists defended their diploma under scientific supervision S.V.Strutynsky. Now he is working as a supervisor of one master and three bachelors degrees. In the diploma projects carried out under the leadership of Strutynsky there are original technical solutions, as well as modern methods of design and experimental study on specially designed equipment.
An important activity is S.V.Strutinsky scientific work within the framework of the state budget and economic contracts subject. It is dedicated to the creation of advanced mechatronic systems for spatial manipulation of objects of engineering. In particular, the system is developed and studied in the form of spatial patterns; implemented special joints on the basis of hydrostatic and aerostatic spherical bearings; developed original technology of bearings based on methods and application of laser stereolithography metalpolimernih composites; A fundamentally new schematics drive systems, such as hingeless system with increased reliability; developed spatial hingeless mechatronic drive systems with elastic-deformed units.
The results of scientific research of S.V.Strutinsky were published in 125 scientific works. Among them monograph, 2 textbooks stamped the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, 45 articles in professional journals, 6 patents. In its active there are 12 joint scientific work with students IME. S.V.Strutinsky is awarded by the diploma of the winner of the Festival of innovative projects "SikorskyChallenge" 2012.
