From 14 to 16 of April, 2014 in National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" at the Department of Integrated Technology Engineering, Phase II All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in CAD and computer modeling in engineering was held.
The Open Students' Mathematical Olympics took place in NTUU “KPI” on March 26.
Olympiad in Theoretical Mechanics for students "KPI" was held March 6, 2014. There were 48 students-representatives of seven faculties and institutes: FASS, IME, FCE, FW, FBE, FMPE, IESEM.
On the fifth and 20th of December 2013 the all-university student's contest were conducted on discipline "Engineering graphics.
On November, 20-22 at the Department of Applied Mechanics and Aerohydromechanotronics of Institute of Mechanical Engineering a traditional Ukrainian Olympiad "Mechanotronics in Engineering” was held.
On July 5th the solemn ceremony of closing and awarding winners of the VIII International Open Students’ Olympiad on programming named after S. О. Lebedev and V. M. Glushkov “KPI-Open 2013’ took place in the Academic Council Hall at the National Technical University of Ukraine “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”.
The second month of summer for students, who are fond of programming, traditionally begins with the International Olympiad on Programming "KPI-OPEN" named after S.O. Lebedev and V.M. Glushkov. The year 2013 has not become an exception: on 2nd July the Olympiad solemnly opened in the Hall of the Academic Council of The National Technical University of Ukraine “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”.
For the past eight years, the "KPI-OPEN" Olympiad has become the largest in Ukraine and one of the world's largest ‘face to face’ programming contest among students. This year there are more than 90 commands from 64 universities of Ukraine, the Russian Federation, Belarus, Turkey, Hungary, Moldova, Estonia and Poland – in all almost 400 participants.
The staff of the Department of Mathematical Analysis and Probability Theory for many years has been successfully engaged in the organization of mathematical competition in our university and training of talented students to math competitions at various levels.
On 21-22nd 2013 at Descriptive Geometry, Engineering and Computer Graphics Department of Physical and mathematical Faculty took place General University Contest for students. Branch of learning is “Engineering and Computer Graphics” and nominations are: “Engineering and Computer Graphics.
Student of the Faculty of Sociology and Law – the prize winner of the second stage of Ukrainian Student Olympiad in the history of Ukraine, which was held on March, 22-23 2013 on the base of the Training and Research Institute of History and Law of Mykolaiv National University named after V.O.
