Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute has entered the TOP 350 best universities in Europe in the QS World University Rankings: Europe 2026, ranking 342nd in Europe and 2nd in Ukraine.
When prolonged anxiety forces us to stay in cold basements, parking lots, and stairwells, hypothermia sets in faster than we can feel it — especially when the temperature drops. These tips are also relevant when staying in rooms without heating.
Starting next semester, Igor Sikorsky KPI will introduce a training course on cogeneration, integrated into the educational programs for training power engineers. The training course was developed in partnership with the engineering company RSE and will be implemented at the Energy Resilience Lab, a laboratory for autonomous and sustainable energy supply.

A cooperation agreement signed between Igor Sikorsky KPI and Ukrainian engineering and product company Dwarf Engineering in the field of DefTech opens up new educational opportunities for the university, such as the launch of a new interdisciplinary educational program, “Computer Vision for Robots.”
In late fall, the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute hosted the First Scientific and Practical Conference of FMF Master’s Students, dedicated to the results of thesis research conducted by master’s degree candidates.
“A year of stability and strategic transformation” — this was the title given by Igor Sikorsky KPI Rector Anatoliy Melnichenko to his report at the Igor Sikorsky KPI Staff Conference. The conference was held on January 26, 2026, in the University Academic Council Hall.
Employees of the Department of Property and Social Affairs created another Point of Invincibility in the first building of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. From now on, polytechnicians can study, teach and work freely during power outages.
A joint educational project between the Boris Paton State Polytechnic Museum and Antonina Berezovenko, an associate professor in the Department of Ukrainian Language, Literature, and Culture at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, was dedicated to the development and application of museum pedagogy methods during the course "Culture of Oral Professional Speech (Rhetoric)“ by first-year students of the Institute of IPSA, who are majoring in ”Artificial Intelligence."
