A recent study visit to the Brovary Factory of Boiler Equipment ARDENZ provided 14 students from the Institute of Atomic and Thermal Energy, ranging from first- to fourth-year undergraduates, with a valuable opportunity to connect classroom learning with industrial practice. The two-hour visit was organized by Associate Professors Nataliia Prytula and Artur Rachynskyi, together with Assistant Lecturer Inna Bednarska from the Department of Thermal and Alternative Energy.

Igor Sikorsky Polytechnic Institute held the first Kyiv Polytech VisionX. Robovision Junior League — an all-Ukrainian computer vision and robotics hackathon for school students.

In April 2026, a delegation from Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute took part in a study visit to the Kingdom of Denmark organized within the framework of the Ukrainian-Danish Energy Partnership Programme (UDEPP). During the spring semester, the Faculty of Linguistics at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute hosted a series of guest lectures delivered by leading Ukrainian and international scholars.

On May 14, 2026, the 15th International Scientific and Practical Conference "Applied Geometry, Engineering Graphics, and Intellectual Property Objects" was held online. The conference is a specialized academic event for the Department of Descriptive Geometry, Engineering and Computer Graphics of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics. Therefore, the foundation of this scientific forum was the Kyiv Polytechnic School of Applied Geometry.

Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute hosted the round table "Mechanism of Safety," dedicated to mechanical demining in Ukraine. The discussion brought together representatives of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, international donors, Ukrainian manufacturers, and mine action operators.

On June 9, a new R&D Laboratory for Installation and Operation of Electrical Equipment officially opened its doors to students and staff of the Educational and Research Institute of Energy Saving and Energy Management at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.

The Polytechnic Lyceum of NTUU “KPI” in Kyiv held a graduation ceremony for 107 eleventh-grade students. The celebration took place in the Academic Council Hall of Igor Sikorsky Polytechnic Institute.

The award is presented to organizations that support the development of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the world’s largest technical professional community, contribute to its initiatives, and promote volunteer activities.
