On November 1, 2017, a protest action was held near the building of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. The initiative to hold the action was taken by the Kyiv city organization of the Trade Union of Education and Science Workers of Ukraine.

October 17, 2017 in the meeting hall of the Academic Council of the Igor Sikorsky KPI, at the initiative of the Department of History of the FSL, was given a lecture by the famous historian, acting head of the Canadian Institute of Ukrainian Studios at the University of Alberta Yaroslav-Igor Bala

With the joint efforts of initiative teams, students and thanks to the votes of Kyiv residents in the public budget of Kyiv won 5 large KPI's projects and one small for the total amount of 10 million 159 thousand 75 UAH.

This autumn, freshmen "debuted" on the stage of the CCA(the Centre of Culture and Art) on October 19. "The debut of the first-year student" is an annual event of Igor Sikorsky KPI,which is intended to awaken and reveal the creative abilities of the freshmen.
