September 1, 2014 the regular Academic Council meeting under chairmanship of Vice-Rector NTUU "KPI" U.I.Yakimenko was held.
It began with CONGRATULATION of : Head of the Department of welding production Doctor of Science Prof. V.M. Prokhorenko, Professor in the Department of Pure and Industrial Thermal Engineering Doctor of Science M.K. Bezrodniy, Dean of Faculty of Chemical Engineering Doctor of Science Prof. E.M. Panov, Head of the Department of Mechanics of plasticity and resource processes Doctor of Science Prof. V.A. Titov, vice-rector on scientific and pedagogical work Doctor of Science Prof. P.O. Kirichko, Professor of Department of Management Ph.D. L.G. Smolar and Acting head of the department of graphics Ph.D. associate professor T.G. Osipova.
This was followed by the presentation of Professor certificates to Valentina Marchenko, Oksana Onufrievna Ohrimenko, Sergey Voitko, Igor Vladimirovich Smirnov and to Irina Kreydich.
Further, the Vice-Rector U.I.Yakimenko presented certificates of the Scientific Council for significant contribution to the organization The Ninth Summer School "Achievements and Applications of Contemporary Informatics, Mathematics and Physics."
The first item on the agenda was the ceremony of presentaton the mantle, the diploma and the badge "Honorary Doctor of NTUU" KPI " to Janusz Fuchs. Y.I. Yakimenko said that this event is very important in the life of NTUU "KPI" to promote mutual understanding and cooperation between peoples, science and progress.
The second item on the agenda was the results of the students' admission to the university in 2014.
Competitive issues and current affairs were discussed before the meeting end.
