Preparations for the finals of the All-Ukrainian competition of student research papers on artificial intelligence are underway. The final will be held on November 28-29. Twenty works from different regions of Ukraine have been admitted to the final stage.

KPI graduate Sergiy Yakymov became the head of the Martian Desert Research Station in the US state of Utah. The station conducts geological and social research, simulating the possible life of astronauts on the surface of Mars.

This year's university competition for the best textbook, monograph, or manual turned out to be surprisingly powerful. Although not too many publications were submitted (13 in total), the jury found it quite a challenge to determine the best ones.

Its history dates back to October 28, 1939, when the police in Prague forcibly dispersed a peaceful demonstration of young people on the occasion of the 21st anniversary of the establishment of the Czechoslovak Republic.
