At the invitation of the organizers, the Ukrainian-Japanese Center of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute took part in this year's festival “Kraina Mriy”.

The annual session of the university faculty took place on 29 August. This year, for security reasons, it was held in a mixed format: deans of faculties and directors of institutes, heads of departments, heads of other departments, some teachers and researchers filled the hall of the Academic Council of the University, other employees were able to watch the meeting in real time or recorded on university networks. The session was attended by the guest of honour and former KPI graduate, and now the First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Kornienko.

On September 9, a scheduled meeting of the Academic Council of the University was held. This event marked the start of the new academic year and the beginning of the work of Kyiv Polytechnic to achieve the university's targets.

On July 17, Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute was visited by a delegation of the Japan External Trade Organization JETRO headed by its leaders - Executive Vice President of JETRO Kazuya Nakajo and Director of JETRO Ukraine Tetsuo Shibata.

The final bootcamp within the international project RESCUU aims to unite students for the revival of Ukraine. The organizers of the event include Uppsala University, Poznan University of Technology, and the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.

On July 5, a monument to one of its famous employees, whose name is forever inscribed in the history of the national aircraft industry, was unveiled on the campus of the National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”. It is about the extraordinary professor of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute Oleksandr Sergiyovych Kudashev, one of the first domestic aircraft designers.

On 21 August, Melexis-Ukraine handed over a set of modern electronic equipment to Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute to equip the joint educational and research laboratory at the Faculty of Electronics.

However, the works made by the Italian master in the mechanical workshops of the KPI are completely forgotten today.

This year's World Blood Donor Day will be held under the slogan “Share your life, give blood”. It is especially relevant for Ukraine: after the start of the full-scale invasion of Russia, the need for donated blood has increased many times over.
