Representatives of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute have once again joined the cohort of the best young scientists in the country. They adequately represented the university in the competition of the Council of Young Scientists under the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine “Young Scientist of the Year 2023”. Three of them won in different nominations.
At the end of May, the international hackathons Smart City Challenge and BioHackathon were held in Warsaw. They were organized by the Student Government of the Warsaw University of Technology, the Herbion Biotechnology Research Group of the Warsaw University of Technology, the Center for International Cooperation, and the student research groups Ventures and Startups and Innovation of the Warsaw School of Economics.
The best representatives of the capital's youth for their scientific and creative achievements, as well as for their contribution to the development of the youth movement, were awarded the Kyiv Mayor's Prize for special achievements in the development of the capital of Ukraine - the hero city of Kyiv.

Dear participants and guests of the university faculty session, let me congratulate you on the 33rd anniversary of Ukraine's independence and the 126th anniversary of the founding of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
A year ago, Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute hosted the finalists of the Educational Ambassadors of the Kyiv Junior Academy of Sciences competition. Maria Gupalenko was among the bright, outstanding girls who presented their research achievements and demonstrated their intellectual and creative abilities.
The memorial plaque was unveiled on 28 August in the 22nd building, which houses the Educational and Research Institute of Energy Saving and Energy Management. It perpetuates the memory of Volodymyr Onufrienko, a graduate of this institute, who died in the battles against the Nazis at the end of December 2023.
According to a long-standing tradition, on the eve of the start of the new academic year, a special event took place at the National Technical University of Ukraine ‘Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute’ - the Freshman Day.
