⚙️ A new high-tech space at the Faculty of Robotics and Instrumentation of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute will enable students to complete the entire engineering product development cycle — from the initial idea and digital design to manufacturing, assembly, and testing of finished robotic systems.
ℹ️ The laboratory is equipped with:
🔹 modern 3D printers for mastering additive manufacturing technologies;
🔹 desktop CNC milling and turning machines;
🔹 workstations for electrical installation, soldering stations, and hot-air rework stations;
🔹 measurement and testing equipment, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, and a microscope;
🔹 facilities for the complete development of components, examination of finished products, and reverse engineering.
🤝 The laboratory was established with the support of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute alumni and partner companies — Ajax Systems, Progresstech-Ukraine, MediGO, and Bald. The space is named after Professor Valentyn Rumbeshta, one of the founders of the Faculty of Instrumentation Engineering and the university's longtime Academic Secretary.
