The campus of National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” occupies the territory of about 120 hectares, where conditions for study, sports, cultural, scientific and intellectual development, rest and hobbies of entire multi-thousand team are successfully combined. The Faculty of Physics and Mathematics (FMF) of our university now has a modern laboratory with 17 high-tech workstations, which will serve as a basis for integrating innovative artificial intelligence methods into the educational space, as well as into fundamental and applied scientific research in physics and mathematics on the way to creating new technologies.
Our newspaper (see “Kyiv Polytechnic” No. 1-2, 2024) has already reported on the mosaic panel “Science,” which adorns the facade of Building 18 and is included in the List of Identified Cultural Heritage Objects of Kyiv. However, its creator, monumentalist artist Fedir Tetyanych (1942–2007), is known mainly to specialists. But the first performer of independent Ukraine, whose ideas were ahead of their time and remain relevant to this day, does not deserve to be forgotten.
