The campus of National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” occupies the territory of about 120 hectares, where conditions for study, sports, cultural, scientific and intellectual development, rest and hobbies of entire multi-thousand team are successfully combined. Our newspaper (see “Kyiv Polytechnic” No. 1-2, 2024) has already reported on the mosaic panel “Science,” which adorns the facade of Building 18 and is included in the List of Identified Cultural Heritage Objects of Kyiv. However, its creator, monumentalist artist Fedir Tetyanych (1942–2007), is known mainly to specialists. But the first performer of independent Ukraine, whose ideas were ahead of their time and remain relevant to this day, does not deserve to be forgotten.
We continue to make our university better, safer, and more comfortable! A new modern shelter for students and employees with an area of 230 m² has been opened in the basement of one of the buildings.
On September 24, 2025, the Mechanical Design & Robotics Lab, created by Ajax Systems in collaboration with KPI, was opened.
