February 10, in the lobby of the STL the traditional Japanese New Year holiday Mochizuki was held.

Dear colleagues, delegates and students! I heartily wish you a Merry Christmas and happy New Year 2019! The expiring year was not easy but extremely important for our country. It enriched the Ukrainians with new experience, rallied them and gave new opportunities, aims and plans.

The brightest Christmas ceremonies literally take place in the village of Kryvorivnia (Ivano-Frankivsk region) and the most typical Malanka is in the village Krasnoilsk (Chernivtsi region.)

Dear friends! Dear colleagues! I wholeheartedly congratulate you on the New Year of 2018 and Merry Christmas! I wish you happiness, family warmth, inspiration and success in your work! And our country - the peace...

Before the New Year's holidays each year the whole world is sung by Carol of the Bells - the famous Christmas melody, known in the musical culture of the western countries as "The Carol of the Bells".

New Year's and Christmas holidays give us a rare opportunity not only to have a rest in the circle of relatives and friends, but also to devote time for reading in peace and quiet.

There is the first holiday that comes right after New Year and remains unnoticed in the dazzling splashes of January's fun. Probably because it is not accompanied with some traditional actions such as caroling, divination or bathing in the ice-holes.

Dear colleagues, friends! Year 2016 passed into history. For Ukraine and our university it was complicated year, full of bright and various events. But at the same time, it brought us new accomplishments, new impressions and goals.

Fluffy green tree is the main symbol of new year and Christmas holidays. Dressed before the New year in a city apartment, a farmhouse or simply outdoors, coniferous beauty seems completely natural and taken for granted.
