In October, the International Metallurgical Forum “Science and Innovation” was held in Kyiv. Its organizers were NAS of Ukraine, Smart Holding, Metinvest Group, Interpipe, ArcelorMittal, and “Eurasia”.

The Igor Sikorsky KPI honored with nominal scholarship holders of the best students because of conscientious study, scientific research and active civic position.

The internet centre “Akme-Harmoniia” was created at the Faculty of Heat and Power Engineering (Department of Automation of Power Processes and Systems Engineering, APEPS).

Kiev Polytechnic Institute commenced the cooperation with the University of Ankara (the Turkish Republic). The framework memorandum on such cooperation was signed on September, 28, by the Rector of the KPI, the academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Michael Zgurovskyi and the rector of the University of Ankara, Professor Erkan Ibish.

On September, 21, the KPI was visited by the delegation of Technological University Cilu (People's Republic of China).

On 28 August Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and concern “NICMAS” concluded Cooperation Agreement.

Ukraine belongs to the few countries with a large-scale program of atomic energy usage for peaceful purposes. Therefore, the implementation of measures for safe operation of nuclear plants, protection of population and environment is one of the main directions of state policy.

On a warm May day, as always "unconventional", there was a meeting of alumni of the TP-52, TEF, 2001 year of graduation. Former students in full gathered together with their families in the Bucha Extreme Park.
