On a warm May day, as always "unconventional", there was a meeting of alumni of the TP-52, TEF, 2001 year of graduation. Former students in full gathered together with their families in the Bucha Extreme Park. All years after graduation we kept friendly relations, watched how new families were created, children were born and raised, jobs were changing. At least 4 couples were formed from students of the same group and in general partners were chosen among students of KPI. Most students in our group were from different cities of Ukraine, but almost all of them remained to work in Kyiv.
Studying in the stormy 90’s, students not only survived all the difficulties of the educational process, but also became friends, and built a successful career in the energy industry. Today, our alumni hold leading positions at enterprises, heat supply companies, project institutes, well-known foreign companies for the production and sale of heat and power equipment (boilers, heating and ventilation equipment, heat exchangers, etc.), they are working in energy surveys and energy audit, teaching at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. If there is a need there is always a possibility to get a thorough advice of your colleague regarding certain heat engineering issues and sometimes even a discount on certain equipment.
As most of the alumni are working according to chosen specialty, there are plenty of topics for conversation. That is why time at such meetings is flying imperceptibly. Adults and children (from 1 to 16 years old) played football, badminton, rope tracks of various difficulty levels, fried barbeque, chatted and spent time pleasantly. And also mentioned our favorite lecturers (wishes to V.M. Minakovskyi and M.F. Bogenenko), curator S.O. Khavin and former head of the department M.K.Bezrodny.
To all students, who are currently studying at Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, would like to have the same strong friendship during the time of studying and after graduation, as well as share an interesting idea of alumni meeting in nature together with their families.
