Insurance and financial mathematics at the FMF: students’ impressions

From 10 to 12 October Department of mathematical analysis and probability theory held an international conference "Boundary theorems in probability theory, number theory and mathematical statistics." The event was a continuation of a series of conferences held during recent years in Europe.

From 29 August to 2th September at the department of mathematical analysis and probability theory in cooperation with European universities under the program "Erasmus +" was read lectures by prof.

The Department of Applied Physics NTUU «Igor Sikorsky KPI» prepared and published Ukrainian-Russian-English Dictionary "Applied Physics" in 4 volumes totaling 2,903 pages. Compiled by prof. Dep. Applied Physics O.T.Bohorosh (project manager), prof. S.O.Voronov, prof.

Every year among all teachers at our university we determine the leader of international recognition related to science publications – taking into account quotation figures in scientific-metric bases.

May 20 at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine laureates of  the  Cabinet Minister's Prize  of Ukraine were awarded for the development and implementation of innovative technologies.

XIV Ukraine-wide scientific and practical conference «Theoretical and applied problems of physics, mathematics and informatics" started its work on 26th of May in NTUU "KPI".

NTUU “KPI” team put in a strong performance in the final stage of Ukraine-wide Olympiad of Mathematics among students of technical higher educational establishments that took place from 17th to 20th of May, 2016 in terms of Sumskyi national university.

The opening ceremony of the XVII International Conference n. a. Academician Mykhaylo Kravchuk was held on May 19 in the Hall of the Academic Council of NTUU "KPI".

International contacts of the specialists from the Department of mathematical analysis and probability theory of the FMF have recently become highly intensive.
