NASA Space Apps Challenge is the largest international space hackathon, organized with the support of the NASA (US National Aeronautics and Space Administration). Participants of more than 70 countries take part in the NASA hackathon.
26 August 2020 Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute Rector signed the order to create Educational and Research Center "Noosphere Engineering School KPI".
The device for screening the hearing of the newborn was developed by the students and postgraduates of the Faculty of Electronics at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. The echoscope was designed on the basis of Medical Acoustic study group.

February 25, 2020, at the KPI Electronics Faculty of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, with the support of the IT company GlobalLogic Ukraine, the research laboratory "KPI - GlobalLogic Ukraine" was opened.
The first in Ukraine exclusive laboratory of designing of modern analog charts on January, 30 in the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute was opened.

The opening of a kinder school of microelectronics “Lampa Kids” was on March 6th. It is working at the building №12 of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, where the Faculty of Electronics is situated.
