The opening of a kinder school of microelectronics “Lampa Kids” was on March 6th. It is working at the building №12 of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, where the Faculty of Electronics is situated.

On December 12, the Supervisory Board of the National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” met.

On November, 29, winners of the III stage of the All-Ukrainian competition for the protection of research works of students - members of the Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and IV stage of the All-Ukrainian student Olympiads on basic subjects were awarded the diplomas of laureates of the scholarship of the President of Ukraine in the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.

On September 26, the XIХ International Scientific and Practical Conference «Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency in the XXI Century» was opened at the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.

It is already a good tradition to hold an annual chemical show "Discover the World of Chemistry" within the framework of cooperation between the Chemical Technology Faculty of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and Kyiv Small Academy of Science.
