Training course “Security first: how not to become a victim of financial fraud” for students of Igor Sikorsky KPI

Vadym Riznyk, an expert at the Information Security Department of PUMB, and Nataliia Bulava, an expert at the PUMB Transaction Monitoring Center, shared their experience in combating fraud.

Using practical case studies, students learned more about:

• types and classic scenarios of fraudulent schemes;
• AI fraud and deepfakes;
• necessary actions and tools to prevent scams;
• the danger of “drops”;
• basic rules of cyber hygiene, etc.

📌 After the training, there was an interesting question-and-answer discussion, a quiz, and a raffle for a music speaker and headphones.
