On November 21, 2025, the XVIII Open Student Olympiad on the Theory of Electronic Circuits took place remotely, which is held annually by the Department of Electronic Engineering of the Faculty of Electronics and is dedicated to the memory of Prof. Vitaly P. Sigorsky, an outstanding scientist and teacher who worked at our university from 1964 to 2007.
This year, the Olympiad coincided with the celebration of the 103rd anniversary of the birth of Prof. Sigorsky. Despite the extremely difficult circumstances, 55 students of our university from the following faculties and educational and scientific institutes registered to participate in the Olympiad: RTF, IPSA, FEL, FIOT, ISZZI, FPM, IAT, ITS.
The winners are:
1st place – Artem Kravchenko, student of group RE-41 of the Radio Engineering Faculty;
2nd place – Artur Galechyan, student of group KI-51 of the Scientific and Educational Institute of Applied System Analysis;
3rd place – Andriy Hrytsanchuk, student of group DM-41 of the Electronics Faculty.
We thank everyone for participating in the Olympiad and invite to the 19th Olympiad TEK’2026, which will be held in November next year. The announcement will be posted on the website https://kpi.ua/
