At the end of 2018, ten young scientists of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute were awarded the prize of the President of Ukraine.

This year, “Sikorsky Challenge-2018” in the finale of competition among many others projects were selected a “glass, basalt plastics packaging for the manufacture packaging capacity of military products”.

The Museum of Space was opened in Bukovyna, where the first cosmonaut of independent Ukraine Leonid Kadeniuk was born. The collective of the State Polytechnic Museum under Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute strongly supported the idea of opening the museum.

New Year Holidays are ongoing and different goodies on our tables don’t end. A novelty for Kyiv’s citizens was the appearance at the end of the year of a ‘tasty’ souvenir - artistically decorated metal cans and fancy packages with dry Kyiv jam (candied fruits).
