On September 22-27, 2017, was held the 29th European Union Young Scientists' Contest (EUCYS-2017) in Tallinn, the most prestigious competition for winners of national competitions.

Already for three decades exists in the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute sports club "Talisman". At first it was a club of rhythm and health, but with the advent of a new direction - aerobics - it became an aerobics club and, in fact, confirmed its name "TALISMAN".

“The third place” is a very popular concept today. It is a place where person wants to go rather than come back home. This is a place to which people hurry in after their work. Is a library a third place where anybody can find book, work or hobby?

On August, 29, on the session of the scientific and pedagogical staff of the university, was signed an agreement on the introduction of the double degree program in the direction "mechanical engineering"  between the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and Poznań Polytechnic Institute.&

Participation in the celebration of the traditional holiday “Freshman's Day” this year was taken by the representatives from Poland. The President of the city of Poznan Jacek Yaskoviak warmly congratulated the first-year students.

Thirty years in the field of invention

In the history of the Kiev Polytechnic Institute, there have always been many workers whose descendants continued the path of parents, their relatives, creating dynasties of the scientific and technological intelligentsia of Ukraine and our university in particular.

Among the projects presented at the Festival "Sikorsky Challenge 2016", the attention of all was attracted by the presentation of the company "Multivisor".

On October 14, last year, during the ceremony of commemorating the Kiev Polytechnicians, who died on the Maidan and in the battles of eastern Ukraine, I met with a member of the Revolution of Dignity and Anti-Terrorist Operation. Cyril Buntov is a student of our university.

The Council of young scientists of the University  was created in September 2014. Today, Parliament plays a significant role in his life. To learn why it was created and the first two years of its operation told "KP" the initiator of the association and its chairman Oleg Beletsky.
