The Fifth International Forum “Human Capital: Value. Quality. Development”, which took place on December 12 in the CLUST SPACE smartcity of the Scientific and Technical Library of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, became a platform where the heads of state authorities of Ukraine, business, international organizations, educational institutions and leading European and national experts discussed one of the important issues of ensuring the formation and growth of human capital in Ukraine - ensuring the development of the National Qualifications System, its adaptation to European standards and integration into the European qualifications space.

Artificial intelligence, or AI, as it is often abbreviated, is probably the fastest growing scientific and technological field in comparison to other IT industries and breakthrough areas of innovation. The scope of its application is constantly growing: AI is already serving people in agriculture and industry, medicine and transport, marketing and sociology, etc. And this range is expanding almost every month. For our country, its potential for use in the defence sector is particularly important today.

On May 15-16, the International Forum "Ecology and Peace" was held at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. It combined an international scientific and practical conference with the same name and a competition of startup projects and scientific and technical developments in the environmental field as a section of the traditional All-Ukrainian Festival "Sikorsky Challenge", which is scheduled for October 2024.

This year's forum, held under the slogan "Let's rebuild Ukraine together," was dedicated to plans for the restoration and development of Ukrainian water supply and sewage systems. Special attention was paid to the projects of international humanitarian organizations in the water sector.

In early summer, Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute hosted the Forum of Mechanical Engineers, dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the university and the Educational and Research Mechanical Engineering Institute.

The KPI delegation of 21 students and teachers will represent our university at the forum in Warsaw.
