Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute once again becomes a center of scientific innovations and advanced technologies in mechanical engineering and aviation, organizing large-scale engineering forums, such as the Forum of Mechanical Engineers, an annual event organized by the Educational and Scientific Mechanical Engineering Institute of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
The Forum of Mechanical Engineers is two days full of speeches and 130 reports in offline and online formats on the following topics:
- advanced engineering, technologies and engineering education (73 reports);
- hydroaeromechanics in engineering practice (35 reports);
- theoretical and practical problems in pressure treatment of materials (22 reports).
From year to year, the Forum of Mechanical Engineers expands its scope and geography. The participants of this year's event included scientists, engineers, students, representatives of universities and industrial enterprises from Ukraine (Kyiv, Kharkiv, Lviv, Dnipro, etc.) and the world.
At the Forum, scientists presented their research, projects, and practical solutions in mechanics and mechanical engineering and learned from the experience of industry leaders such as Hydraulic Line, Hansa Flex, Boeing, Ukr Armo Tech, Inguar, Vents, Standard T, Sigma Engieneering, Progresstech, and others.
Among the foreign experts who participated in the Forum were representatives of the USA, Canada, the Republic of Korea, Serbia and China:

The mission of the forum is to bring together leading domestic and foreign scientists, industry and business representatives to find solutions to critical technical problems for the development and defense of our country, as well as to engage talented young people in joint projects.
“This event is a place where generations of future professional engineers gather not only to discuss the latest achievements in the field of advanced engineering and technology, but also to establish new connections between leading Ukrainian and foreign researchers to form powerful scientific research and contractual work,” said Ihor Hryshko, Director of the Educational and Scientific Mechanical Engineering Institute of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
The Forum also involved young high school students who participate in the activities of the Small Academy of Science.
All participants of the forum can receive certificates of advanced training.
