🛰 The Space for Ukraine forum was organized by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. Among the participants were representatives of government and business, the Commander of the French Space Command, the Commander of the British Space Command, leading experts in the field of space technology.
Rector of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute Anatoliy Melnychenko and member of the Supervisory Board of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute Yaroslav Yatskiv (member of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Director of the Main Astronomical Observatory of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine) took part in the panel discussion “Innovations in Military Space: Ukrainian Potential” on combining efforts and resources for the development of military space.
The forum also presented developments in the field of space technology, including those of our university, which is almost the only one in Ukraine that has its own space program and a satellite launched into space.
The participation of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute in this event is important in the context of the roadmap for the development of the space sector for a decade, presented at the forum.
