On January 13 and 14, 2018, the National Academic A Capella Choir of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute took part in the IXth Christmas festival "Koliada na Maizliakh" which took place in Ivano-Frankivsk, in the Temple of Tsar Christ of the monastery of oo.

The amateur-talent groups of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute not only please the local viewers with their performances but also take part in competitions and festivals in Ukraine and abroad and traditionally come back with awards.

On the last day of May, 2016 in the small auditorium of the Warsaw University of Technology bandura players from ‘KPI’ played to remind people the nostalgia of Ukrainian prairies.

On March, 16th Parliament hearings '30 years after Chornobyl: lessons and perspectives' took place in Verkhovna Rada.

On December 9, there was a meeting of Civil Forum “Strategy of national security of Ukraine”. Prominent Ukrainian scientist, authority representatives, trade union members and representatives of military complex enterprises, civil organization members, students and media participated in the forum.

Nov. 10, 2015 deputies of Ukraine adopted at the first reading the 2244  law by 290 votes  "Scientific and Scientific-Technical Activities". It is the first step in oder to govern the most popular problems of domestic scientific sphere.
