Hryhorii Luparenko, Head of the Research Department for Exhibition and Museum Activities at the Borys Paton State Polytechnic Museum and a war veteran, has been awarded the Honorary Distinction of the Academic Council of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute for his outstanding contribution to strengthening Ukrainian statehood, his courage and selfless service in defending Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity, and his dedicated professional service.

An exhibition of works by artist Yuliia Skrypka (also known as Yuliia Pidkurhanna), titled The Fairy Tale of Everyday Life, has opened at the Borys Paton State Polytechnic Museum of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. The exhibition project was presented by the Directorate of Art Exhibitions of Ukraine in partnership with the museum.

One of the most distinguished among them is Professor Volodymyr Serhiiovych Kovalenko, whose contribution continues to inspire the university community. On June 20, 2026, the university marked the 85th anniversary of the birth of this outstanding scientist, whose research and teaching career was as focused and purposeful as the laser beam he devoted his life to mastering.

Youth Intelligence: Sustainable Natural Resource Management and Advanced Energy-Efficient Technologies

This spring, Igor Sikorsky Polytechnic Institute hosted the All-Ukrainian Competition for Students and Young Researchers with International Participation, Youth Intelligence: Sustainable Natural Resource Management and Advanced Energy-Efficient Technologies. The event was held under the motto "Dream, Create, Grow!" The competition was organized by the Department of Automation of Electrical and Mechatronic Complexes of the Institute of Energy Saving and Energy Management, in cooperation with the Scientific and Technical Society of Chemmotologists NGO, under the patronage of the German-Ukrainian University Network ConnectED and in partnership with the Kyiv Junior Academy of Sciences.
