The annual 29th International Mathematics Competition for University Students, which took place in the city of Blagoevgrad (Bulgaria) from August 1 to 7, 2022, became the largest in terms of the participants number for all the years it was held: 664 students from leading universities around the world took part in it.
Students of our university traditionally did well: Yurii Yarosh (IASA, KA-01) awarded Second Prize; Kostiantyn Slovak (FPM, KM-13) and Denys Lohvynov (IASA, KA-01) awarded Third Prize; Artem Dvornyi (FMF, OM-82), Oleksii Galganov (IASA, KA-81), Valerii Mykhailov (IASA, DA-11), Ivan Skoroplias (IASA, KA-96), Anton Pieshkov (FPM, KM-11) earned Honourable Mention.
The team leaders were senior lecturers of the Department of Mathematical Analysis and Probability Theory Volodymyr Volodymyrovych Pavlenkov and Anton Volodymyrovych Syrotenko.
