Since 2013, it has been regularly organized by the Department of Mathematical Analysis and Probability Theory of the Faculty of Mathematics and Philosophy of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. Each of the previous conferences was attended by more than 100 participants, who made more than 900 reports in total.
On March 27-28, 2025, the international scientific and practical conference "Innovative Digital Methods in Education and Research" was held in Berehove. The event was organized by the Transcarpathian Hungarian Institute named after Ferenc Rákóczi II and brought together more than 140 participants from Ukraine, Hungary, and Romania.
In March, Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute hosted the traditional Mathematics Week, a series of events that demonstrated how interesting, interactive and modern this science can be. The significance of the event was supported by the rector of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute Anatoliy Melnychenko: he recorded a video message to the participants, in which he emphasized the importance of developing mathematical culture among young people and its role in scientific and technological progress.
The International Center for Mathematics in Ukraine (ICMU) honorary award, introduced this year, was given to Oleksiy Galganov, a PhD student at the Department of Mathematical Analysis and Probability Theory of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. He became one of six winners selected from among the best mathematics students from all leading Ukrainian universities.
In early December last year, the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava hosted an international workshop AdaMass Partnership Meeting. The event brought together teachers and researchers from different countries, including Ukraine, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Norway, to discuss pressing issues in mathematics education and find innovative solutions.
