The Faculty of Sociology and Law has launched a series of online events within the Global Legal Skills Virtual Workshop Series project.
The Professor of Law at Seattle University, Janet Dixon, delivered the public lecture.
About 90 audience members took part in the event. Not only law teachers and law students joined, but also students of engineering specialties of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
Professor Janet Dixon spoke about:
🔹 legal regulation of the activities of the US government;
🔹 the functioning of US judicial bodies, "judicial elections", the work of American juries;
🔹 US constitutional law;
🔹 legal aspects of the functioning of US public administration bodies;
🔹 activities of the Electoral College, etc.
