February, 8 marks the 180th anniversary of the world-famous Russian scientist Dmitri Mendeleev, whose monument is set before the fourth ("chemical") building of NTUU "KPI", and a bas-relief - on the facade of the first (main) building.
Talented people are talented in everything. A good proof of this expression is known figure Dmitri Mendeleev. His discoveries, work and interests known to many. Far less mention of it artistic tastes and hobbies. And art occupies a special role in his life.
Among students of KPI issue of extra hours on physical training that are included in the curriculum are currently debated. They argue that these four hours of training interfere with study process, and instead of them some additional classes of main subjects are advisable.
Demonstrating their theoretical and practice knowledge on international competitions, creative ideas and flexible thinking , KPI students are increasingly attracting international scientific community’s attention. It especially deals with informational technologies and programming.
The main objective of the maintenance department (MD) is to keep the existing material base in the normal operating condition and its further development in order to create normal conditions for training and research activities and the establishment of appropriate social environment for students
On 23rd of January the VIII International Scientific-Practical Conference “Modern Trends in Teaching Foreign Languages in Higher School: Information and Communicative Educational Technologies” took place in NTUU “KPI”.
On the 13-14 of March at the Faculty of Linguistics of the National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" was held IX International research and practice conference on "Modern Approaches and Innovations in foreign languages teaching".
For many years Scientific and Technical Library of NTUU "KPI" named after H.I.Denysenko keeps such a large number of publications, that the greatest scholars of the university can not even realize.
