Among the famous graduates, teachers and former students of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, whose memory is immortalized on the territory of the university, there is probably only one, to whom not one, but two monuments have been installed at once.

At the meeting with “Ukroboronprom” (UOP), Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Serhiy Shkarlet spoke on leading positions of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute in science and education.

Recently, the International Specialized Exhibition of Defense, Armament, Military and Specialty Equipment, Technologies and Dual-Use Arms and Security products was held in Ukraine, where Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute successfully presented its developments

Representatives of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute actively participate in the XV International specialized exhibition "Weapons and Security - 2018", which opened on October 9 at the International Exhibition Center on Brovarsky avenue.

On March, 1, National technical university of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv polytechnic institute” run a presentational exhibition of new weapons, armored vehicles and dual-use technology for members of Kyiv association of military attaché.

October 11-14, 2016 in the International Exhibition Center was XIII International Specialized Exhibition named "Arms and Security - 2016".

In terms of undeclared war on the teritory of eastern Ukraine it is extremely important  to enhance the defense capacity of the state.

Among the winners of the fourth festival of innovative projects "Sikorsky Challenge 2015", which took place in the autumn on the basis of our university, and the project called "Assault Rifle", performed by ASS "Polytec Aero" and the Science Park "Kyiv Polytechnic".

Representatives of NTUU “KPI” administration as well as the heads of its several institutes and faculties had a discussion on cooperation issues with delegation of General staff of Defence Forces of United Arab Emirates.
