The annual session of the university faculty took place on 29 August. This year, for security reasons, it was held in a mixed format: deans of faculties and directors of institutes, heads of departments, heads of other departments, some teachers and researchers filled the hall of the Academic Council of the University, other employees were able to watch the meeting in real time or recorded on university networks. The session was attended by the guest of honour and former KPI graduate, and now the First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Kornienko.

On July 5, a monument to one of its famous employees, whose name is forever inscribed in the history of the national aircraft industry, was unveiled on the campus of the National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”. It is about the extraordinary professor of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute Oleksandr Sergiyovych Kudashev, one of the first domestic aircraft designers.

On 21 August, Melexis-Ukraine handed over a set of modern electronic equipment to Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute to equip the joint educational and research laboratory at the Faculty of Electronics.

The Day of the National Flag of Ukraine was solemnly celebrated in Kyiv Polytechnic. Polytechnics gathered at the KPI Knowledge Square to honor the historical memory of our flag and remember all those who died for it.

He was accompanied by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Ukraine Kuninori Matsuda and Deputy Director General of the Directorate for International Cooperation of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine Stella Shapoval.

On 26 July 2024, the National Technical University of Ukraine "Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" held a ceremony to award bachelor's degrees to foreign students.
