KPI climbers are on top again!
It's been almost three years since we congratulated our climbing team on winning the Ukrainian Higher Education Championship. The break was first caused by the COVID-19 epidemic, then a full-scale war broke out.

Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute team took part in the Ukrainian climbing championship among students, which took place on March 11-13 in Kremenchuk. The competition was held in three disciplines: "speed", "difficulty" and "all-around".

The Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute team at the Ukrainian Climbing Students' Championship (under the "bouldering" program), which took place on February 7-9 in Kharkiv, won a license to participate in the Student World Championship.

Two teams of our university took part in the championship of Ukraine in sports trekking, cycling and water tourism among students, which was held on May 16-19. It was the first Ukrainian championship among students for the past 10 years.
Good performance of polytechnic climbers at the Ukrainian Championship
The Ukrainian National Rock Climbing Championships took place in the picturesque Buka Canyon in Cherkasy region from April 30 to May 5. ZVO representatives from Kharkiv, Odesa, Vinnytsia, Luhansk, Donetsk region, and Kiyv came together to try their best.

The tenth climbing championship of Ukraine among students (type of program - bouldering) was held on February, 19-21 in Kryvyi Rih. 70 strongest athletes - representatives of 14 universities come to measure dexterity.

Sports orienteering is a very exciting type of sport that requires enormous sportsmen’ endurance, speed of thinking and attentiveness, i.e. physical and intellectual training at once.
Tourists KPI win again
It has become a tradition that our athletes from the tourist club "globe" with the competition returned winners. This certificate is good preparation they receive at the club, and the will to win and desire to best represent their University.
