In a world increasingly demand products by biotechnology industries, received by the use of natural biological objects and processes. These products help to fight diseases, develop and improve healthcare, provide affordable, life-saving drugs.
Clean fresh water on our planet - the most valuable natural resource whose reserves are limited. Therefore, scientists all around the world pay much attention to clearing and rational use of water. Do not stand aside of scientific inquiry and Kyiv Polytechnics.
ІІІ International scientific and practical conference “Pure water. Fundamental, applied and industrial aspects” has started in NTUU “KPI”. It is hold under auspices of Ambassador Extraordinary and Respected of Poland republic in Ukraine Henryk Litvin.
Memorandum on collaboration in the field of water purification between “RML” Water (USA), “Agency for Donbas development”, “Nature technologies” ltd. as well as Scientific Park “Kyiv Politechnics” has been ratified in September, 28 in NTUU “KPI”.
The meeting between the managers of PJSC “Kyivvodokanal”, the scientists of NTUU “KPI” and KNUBA, who are concerned with the problems of water purification and sewages disinfection as well as active sludge utilization, was held in August, 27 in NTUU “KPI”.
The scientists of NTUU “KPI” have represented their developments in a session in Department of housing and utility infrastructure of Kyiv local state administration.
Eurasian training project "Water Harmony" started its activities in 2011 through collaboration between the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU) and NTUU"KPI".
On June 27 an Educational Scientific Center "Clean Water" was inaugurated in the National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute". It is established by the NTUU "KPI" and the research-and-production enterprise "Nature Technologies". The purpose of the ESC "Clean Water" – to promote the solution of the problem of clean drinkable water supply to Ukrainian residents. The decision is urgent for our country: well known is the fact, that due to bad ecological condition of surface water and water supply sources and because of archaic water treatment technologies at the same time, more than 50% of our population consume water, completely unfit for usage.
"An access to clean drinkable water is the problem that becomes more urgent in this century and eventually it will be more acute. Its solution depends primarily on the technology advancement and skilled professionals able to work with it, said the Rector of the NTUU "KPI", a member of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Mikhail Zgurovsky at the opening ceremony. – Thus, the Center is established to prepare such experts and work out the best technology".
Recently in the media was proclaimed about biological treatment of water as scientific and technical achievements of the last 150 years, which brought the greatest benefit to people.
